LoyalBrew
B2B Digital Platform Branding
The Brief & Strategic Challenge
LoyalBrew is a digital passport platform used by regional tourism boards, craft beverage networks, and local ale trails to run destination loyalty programs. Brought on to provide senior creative direction for the platform's launch, the challenge was creating a visual identity that could scale across multiple distinct beverage and tourism sectors without requiring structural modification. From a market positioning standpoint, the platform needed to look cohesive whether deployed for an artisan craft brewery, a high-end vineyard, a local distillery, or a regional coffee trail.
Creative Direction & System Design
The design strategy uses a clean, minimal brand mark that integrates a hop icon and a wine goblet into a single emblem. Rather than creating a static asset, the project delivered a flexible icon that anchors the design system across mobile interfaces, digital marketing assets, print collateral, and social media templates. This versatile visual identity allowed the platform to adapt to new markets as the business expanded.
The Outcome
Following its initial launch with the Charlottesville Ale Trail, the scalable design system supported the platform’s expansion across the country. The platform now hosts major regional tourism programs—ranging from the 60+ vineyards of the Garden State Wine Growers Association in New Jersey to coffee tours like the Akron Drip Drive—and supports over 50,000 active users.
