QUESTIONNAIRE:
I will send you an in-depth questionnaire asking questions about your business, audience, goals, and vision. If necessary, we will hop on a video call to chat about your responses.
01. DISCOVERY
While a beautifully crafted brand gets people’s attention, it’s a strategically crafted brand that will win hearts and inspire loyalty in your audience. I will dig into the information you provide in your questionnaire and research your target audience to develop a comprehensive, multi-page brand strategy document tailored specifically to your business. Your brand strategy will outline a clear vision and strategy to set you apart from your competition, connect your business with your target audience, and layout the initial visual tone of your brand identity in the form of a mood board and color palette. We will work together to get your brand strategy feeling just right.
02. DESIGN
Drawing on the strategic foundation and visual tone established in your brand strategy, I will craft one cohesive brand identity system. I follow the one-concept design approach, which means that after an intensive exploration of a number of various design directions, I will present you with the single concept that is the best solution to meet the unique needs of your brand and wow your audience. Your design concept will be presented as a comprehensive brand identity containing all of your brand logos, marks, patterns etc. You’ll then have a chance to ask questions and provide feedback.
03. REFINE
After reviewing your feedback, we will discuss what’s working — how is the design concept successfully speaking to your target audience — and areas where there is room for improvement. My goal is to ensure that the design we are creating resonates with both you AND your audience. We will work through two rounds of refinement together.
04. DELIVERY + LAUNCH
After all of the design elements are finalized, I will provide you with everything you need to successfully launch your brand, including a comprehensive brand guideline document to guide you in using your new brand. My goal is to give you everything you need to manage your brand on your own, but I’m always here if you need help down the road!

I maintain partnerships with many of my clients long after the initial brand design process is complete. When possible, I love to continue our collaboration throughout your business journey, offering my knowledge, expertise, and support to help you create consistent, captivating brand experiences. I offer a variety of design services. Any additional design or branding needs that pop up down the road are available, as custom packages, to my previous brand identity and starter brand clients.

QUESTIONNAIRE
I will send you a questionnaire asking questions about your business, audience, goals, and vision. Once you complete the questionnaire, we'll kick off the three-week process.
WEEK 01: DISCOVERY
The Express Brand Identity does not include a brand strategy document, but I will use this week to analyze the information you provide in your questionnaire. I will pair this information with my design expertise to curate the fonts and colors that best represent your brand and speak to your ideal audience. If necessary, we will also hop on a video call during this week should either of us have questions.
WEEK 02: WORDMARK DESIGN
I will present two different custom font options for your logotype, and typeset them using your business name. You will pick the one that best represents your brand. I will help guide you and I am happy to make a recommendation. One round of refinements is included.

After the wordmark is complete, I will present a brand board and business card design in two different color options. The brand board includes your wordmakr, alternate logo versions (including social media profile image), and font guide. You pick your preferred color, and then I will save the vector logo files and brand board. If you have chosen to add on business cards, I will also present a business card design during this step. One round of refinements is included in this step.

WHAT IS A WORDMARK?
A wordmark is a logo that only uses type (no illustrative marks or symbol). Wordmarks focus on name recognition as opposed to a logomark which uses type and image to create brand recognition. A few well-known brands who primarily use wordmarks, include: Vans, Tiffany & Co., FedEx, Sony, Williams-Sonoma, and Google. The Mini Brand package includes a wordmark (customized font) but no image, which is one of the ways I’m able to offer it at a much lower price point than the Brand Strategy + Design package. Icons, monograms, etc. can be strategically added to an Express Brand Identity as part of a larger Brand Strategy + Design package as your business grows and your branding needs change.
WHAT IS A BRAND BOARD?
A brand board is a single page PDF document with all of your visual assets in one place. Your brand board is a reference guide to keep your branding consistent.

I love to partner with my branding clients on future design needs. I am here to help keep your brand cohesive as you grow. I also offer my Express Brand Identity clients a $500 credit towards The Brand Strategy + Design Package to use when you are ready to invest in a more comprehensive brand identity solution.
DO YOU OFFER WEBSITE DESIGN?
My primary focus is on brand strategy + design, but for small websites that don’t need a lot of customization, I do offer website design using the Squarespace platform. For more complex websites I provide custom UX and UI design and collaborate with one of my digital partners to handle development.

Turn around time varies depending on project scope, as well as client response time. Typically, the Brand Strategy + Design package takes 10–12 weeks and Mini Brands take 2–4 weeks.

As soon as you let me know you're ready to book, I will send you a contract and an invoice. Once I receive your signed contract and 50% deposit, I will send you your questionnaire and schedule your start date. I do my best to schedule start dates within 1–3 months for Brand Strategy + Design packages and 1–2 weeks for Mini Brands (which leaves you time to work on your questionnaire).

Yes. Typically 50% of your total brand investment is due upon contract signing to secure your spot on my schedule, and the remaining 50% of your brand investment is due at the end of the project. For the Brand Strategy + Design package, I am also able to offer 3 payments. Please inquire.

Payment is due 14 days after an invoice is issued. If an invoice is unpaid by the due date, a late fee of 3% accrues monthly on the outstanding amount. Final, working files will not be released until full payment is made.
