RecRe
Automated Rental Platform & Brand System
The Brief & Strategic Challenge
RecRe is an automated locker rental platform that enables universities to reduce labor costs while offering students 24/7 access to campus equipment and recreational items. Stepping in to guide the digital product strategy, the objective was to design the wireframe architecture (UX) and user interface (UI) for a website showcasing the platform’s hardware and software ecosystem, while driving measurable engagement with both current campus partners and prospective university clients.
UX/UI Architecture & Visual System Design
Working from the company’s existing logo, the project expanded the brand's visual identity into a comprehensive design system, spanning the full UX wireframing phase and final website layouts. A formal brand guidelines document was established to define typographic hierarchies, color application rules, photography, and layout parameters. This unified visual foundation applies to both the physical hardware and the digital interfaces, delivering a responsive website that clarifies the service for institutional buyers and end-users. The UI design utilizes distinct feature breakdowns and an intuitive interface to make the website highly approachable for student users and higher-education administrators alike.
The Outcome
The final wireframes, UI assets, and brand guidelines organize RecRe’s product messaging and business-to-business marketing goals into a clean, modern website that supports multiple user pathways. The digital platform delivers a professional sales asset that demonstrates operational value to higher-education administrators, helping to accelerate the enterprise sales cycle and expand the platform's presence across national university campuses. To support ongoing growth, the brand guidelines provide a clear roadmap that ensures all physical and digital products remain visually cohesive.
