Sensüs
Immersive Experiential Art Platform
The Brief & Strategic Challenge
Sensüs was a planned immersive and experiential art exhibition designed to offer non-traditional, family-friendly arts engagement across all major demographics. Retained to guide the creative strategy ahead of its projected launch, the objective was to build a bold, memorable visual identity to communicate the fantastical, sensory nature of the physical space. The Sensüs space was designed to integrate optical illusions, textures, and interactive lighting environments. The brand identity shares this fantastical vision.
Creative Direction & System Design
Inspired by street and pop art movements, the design strategy uses an edgy, familiar style to highlight art accessibility. The visuals rely on a custom typographic system and a vibrant color palette to separate the brand from traditional gallery models. The brand identity incorporates hand-drawn icons, using the eye and the moth as core symbols to represent perception, mystery, and the sensory layout of the physical environment. This flexible visual system of shape and color allows the brand to scale across digital promotional assets, environmental teaser graphics, and physical merchandise.
The Outcome
While the experiential art space ultimately did not launch, the completed brand assets stand as a clear design framework for non-traditional exhibition branding. The final project combines custom typography and symbolic illustration to translate an ambitious, physical concept into a distinct visual identity.
