Six Hundred West Main
Luxury Real Estate Positioning
The Brief & Strategic Challenge
Six Hundred West Main is a high-profile luxury real estate development which required a commanding, market-facing brand identity during its pre-development phase. Brought on to provide senior creative direction, the objective was to build a distinctive brand system that reflected the property's modern architecture, established premium market value early in the pre-development cycle, and generated immediate investor and buyer confidence. The strategic positioning focused on establishing the property as a cultural and artistic anchor within the urban corridor linking the University of Virginia and the historic downtown mall.
Creative Direction & System Design
The design strategy leans directly into a bold, editorial aesthetic characterized by sharp geometric lines, deep contrast, and a moody, rock-and-roll vibe that echoes the building’s modern, urban architecture. The project established a comprehensive brand identity built to scale across physical and digital environments, including large-scale environmental graphics, site signage, stationery, leasing and marketing collateral, digital marketing assets, and a unique printed press kit.
The Outcome
The completed brand identity successfully defined the asset's premium market position and provided the development team with the necessary visual leverage to drive early engagement and support initial valuation goals. The strength of this original system later served as the critical aesthetic baseline when developing the brand identity for its subsequent sibling property, Six Twelve.
